This Acceptable Use Policy sets out the rules for using the Build118 website, directory and related services.
It applies to all users, including visitors, registered users, businesses, advertisers, event organisers, employers and other contributors.
You must use Build118 only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of Build118, other users or third parties.
You must comply with applicable laws and regulations when using the platform.
You must provide information that is accurate, current and not misleading.
You must not create a false business profile, falsely claim involvement in a project, misrepresent qualifications or accreditations, impersonate another person or organisation, or publish fabricated business information.
You must not upload, publish or transmit content that is unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, threatening, abusive, discriminatory, hateful, sexually explicit, malicious, misleading or otherwise inappropriate.
You must not upload content that infringes copyright, trademarks, confidentiality, privacy or other third-party rights.
You must not use Build118 to send spam, bulk unsolicited messages, deceptive marketing communications or other unwanted communications.
You must not misuse contact information obtained through Build118 for unlawful or abusive purposes.
You must not unlawfully scrape, harvest, copy or systematically collect information from Build118.
You must not use automated methods to access or extract platform data in a way that breaches these Terms, harms the service or infringes applicable law.
You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to Build118, another user’s account, servers, databases or systems.
You must not introduce malware, viruses, malicious code or other harmful material.
You must not interfere with, disrupt or attempt to circumvent the security or technical operation of the platform.
You must not submit fake reviews, manipulate ratings, create reviews on behalf of others without authority, falsely claim project responsibility, or make deliberately false allegations about competitors or other businesses.
Job and event information must be accurate, lawful and authorised.
You must not use Build118 to advertise fraudulent opportunities, discriminatory employment practices, fake events or misleading services.
You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and for protecting your login credentials.
You must notify Build118 if you believe your account has been compromised.
Build118 may review, moderate, restrict, edit or remove content that breaches this policy or presents a legal, security, safety or reputational risk.
Build118 may suspend or terminate access where appropriate, including for serious or repeated breaches.

This policy forms part of the Build118 Terms & Conditions. If there is a conflict, the Terms & Conditions will apply unless a specific policy or legal requirement provides otherwise.
