These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the Build 118 website, platform and related services.
In these Terms, “Build 118” refers to the platform and brand. “Tlogic Media”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Tlogic Media Ltd, the company operating Build 118. “You” and “your” refer to any person, business or organisation accessing or using Build 118.
By accessing, registering with or using Build 118, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the platform.
Build 118 is currently in development and features, services and functionality may be introduced, changed or improved.
Build 118 is a UK construction industry platform designed to connect businesses, professionals, project owners and services across the construction supply chain.
The platform may include company directories, business profiles, specialist services, project portfolios, project information, events, jobs, business and professional information, search and discovery tools, promotional services, community features and other construction-related functionality.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Build 118 is a platform and directory service and is not itself a contractor, subcontractor, supplier, consultant, developer, client or project manager.
Build 118 is operated by Tlogic Media Ltd.
Where these Terms refer to “Tlogic Media”, this is a shortened reference to Tlogic Media Ltd and does not create a separate legal entity.
Legal company details, including registered office and company registration number, will be published once confirmed.
You must provide accurate, current and non-misleading information.
If you create or manage a profile for a business or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to act on its behalf.
You must not impersonate another person, business or organisation or use Build 118 for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.
Businesses may create profiles containing company details, contact information, descriptions, services, specialisms, sectors, locations, accreditations, memberships, projects, images, videos and other relevant information.
The profile owner is responsible for ensuring that information supplied or displayed is accurate, current, authorised and not misleading.
Build 118 may request clarification or evidence where information appears inaccurate, misleading or unverifiable.
Tlogic Media may assist businesses with creating or completing their Build 118 profile. Businesses can contact memberships@build118.co.uk.
Information supplied must be accurate and authorised for use. The business remains responsible for checking and approving its completed profile.
Build 118 may allow businesses and authorised users to create project listings and digital project portfolios.
Users must only publish project information they are authorised to publish and must not falsely claim responsibility for work, participation in a project or a relationship with a client or other project participant.
Build 118 may display professional memberships, accreditations and certifications and may check relevant information against recognised professional or accreditation bodies.
Verification reflects information checked at the relevant time and may change, expire, be suspended or withdrawn.
Verification is not an endorsement, recommendation or guarantee of a business, its services, workmanship, financial position, insurance, qualifications, suitability or performance.
The business or profile owner is responsible for obtaining permission to display third-party logos, trademarks, membership marks or accreditation badges and for complying with relevant brand guidelines.
Tlogic Media does not grant permission to use third-party intellectual property and may request evidence of authorisation or remove material where appropriate.
Users are responsible for carrying out appropriate checks before engaging a business, professional, contractor, supplier or other organisation listed on Build 118, including checks on registration, insurance, qualifications, memberships, accreditations, references, financial standing, health and safety, licences and contractual terms where relevant.
Build 118 provides a platform for discovery, research and communication. Quotes, contracts, appointments, purchases, payments, employment arrangements and construction agreements are generally entered into directly between the relevant parties.
Tlogic Media is not a party to agreements between users and businesses unless expressly stated otherwise.
Build 118 may offer free and paid memberships, advertising, promotional services and other paid functionality.
Packages, prices, features and availability may vary. Applicable pricing and service details will be provided before purchase.
A Purchase Order does not remove the customer’s responsibility to pay agreed charges within applicable payment terms.
Renewal, cancellation and refund arrangements depend on the service or membership purchased and the terms provided at purchase.
Nothing in these Terms removes or restricts statutory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Prices may change from time to time. Price changes will not retrospectively alter an already-paid period unless permitted by the applicable agreement or law.
Event organisers and job advertisers are responsible for ensuring that information is accurate, current, authorised and lawful.
Tlogic Media does not guarantee event attendance, event quality, employment, interviews, candidate suitability or the outcome of a recruitment process.
Users may submit profiles, project information, images, videos, documents, reviews, comments, jobs, events and other content.
You are responsible for content you submit and must have the necessary rights and permissions to publish it.
Content must not be false, misleading, defamatory, fraudulent, unlawful, infringing, malicious, abusive, discriminatory, sexually explicit or otherwise inappropriate.
Tlogic Media may review, moderate, edit, restrict or remove content where we reasonably believe it breaches these Terms, is unlawful or misleading, infringes rights, presents a security or reputational risk or is otherwise inappropriate.
We may suspend or terminate accounts where appropriate.
Reviews should reflect genuine experiences. Users must not submit fake reviews, manipulate ratings, make false allegations or conduct unfair competitor attacks.
Build 118 may remove reviews or claims that breach these requirements or applicable law.
Build 118 and its licensors retain rights in the website, platform, branding, design, software, databases, graphics, text and other proprietary materials except where otherwise stated.
You must not reproduce, copy, modify, distribute, sell or commercially exploit Build 118 materials without appropriate permission.
You retain ownership of content you submit.
By submitting content, you grant Tlogic Media a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, store, reproduce, display, adapt where reasonably necessary, distribute and otherwise use that content to operate, maintain, develop and promote Build 118 and its services.
You confirm that you have the rights and permissions necessary to grant this licence.
Build 118 is under development. We do not guarantee that the platform will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, error-free or free from bugs.
We may introduce, modify, suspend or remove features, services, tools or functionality as the platform develops.
Report technical problems and bugs to report@build118.co.uk. Where possible, include the page or feature affected, a description, screenshots and device/browser information.
Build 118 may contain links to third-party websites or services. Tlogic Media is not responsible for their content, availability, security, privacy practices or services.
Build 118 may obtain business information from businesses, public sources, professional organisations, third parties and other legitimate sources.
Tlogic Media may update, correct, restrict or remove information where appropriate, including where there are concerns about fraud, misrepresentation, misleading information, rights infringement or material risk.
Tlogic Media may suspend or terminate access where there is a serious or repeated breach of these Terms or where action is reasonably necessary to protect Build 118, its users or third parties.
Termination does not affect rights or obligations that arose before termination.
You must not use Build 118 for fraud, impersonation, misleading information, malware, unauthorised access, spam, harassment, unlawful personal data collection, unlawful scraping, security bypass or other unlawful or abusive activity.
Use of personal information is governed by the Build 118 Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Users must ensure that information they submit is authorised for publication and does not unlawfully disclose another person’s personal information.
To the extent permitted by law, Tlogic Media is not responsible for losses arising from agreements, transactions, projects, appointments, employment arrangements or other dealings entered into directly between users and businesses listed on Build 118.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
Information on Build 118 is for general information and discovery purposes and does not constitute legal, financial, technical, construction, engineering, architectural, health and safety or other professional advice unless expressly stated.
To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for losses, claims, liabilities, costs and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, unlawful use of Build 118 or infringement of another person’s rights through content you submit.
Tlogic Media may update these Terms to reflect changes to Build 118, services, features, business practices or applicable law. The latest version will be published on the platform.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Subject to mandatory consumer rights, the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms or use of Build 118.
